Hi
I have an 85 cm dish with Freesat only on at the present.I intend to swap my 2 sky digiboxs onto this dish and ditch the small sky dish.
My query is,what other sat could I pick up besides the astra ones ?(the dish is fixed).I've seen ads for lnb clamps to hold multiple lnb's but I'm not sure what use they would be.

You should be able to pull in 13e, 19e and 28e with a multi LNb bracket :D

Check the site sponsors for kit here

As an installer, I would personally suggest something like the following:

1 x Multi- bracket for dish
2 x Universal LNb's
1 x Quad LNb for 28e
1 x 4x1 DiSEqC Switch
1 x Receiver with at least DiSEqC 1.1 which is standard now.

This will give you all channels form 28e ($ky) plus around 2000+ channels from 13e and 19e. Note this also includes paid channels which require a valid subscription.

Good Luck :)

I thought the o/p only has a freesat box and 2 digiboxes? surely he would be restricted by the limited SR and FEC of those boxes for multisat work or does the bush unit have full capability?

As I said I recommend a 'Receiver with at least DiSEqC 1.1' for the multi sat reception side of things.

Leave the $ky boxes connected directly to the Quad for broadcasts from 28e.

Problem solved Topper :D
