11653V 2355 Pavlodar Tv (Kazakhstan). Very weak here and this is only freq what give signal. No sign of these other frequencies mentioned on Flysat etc.
But after long time NEW satellite, nice
Few more channels catched. No rain after looong time and sure better signals at once. 11649V Aktau, 11653V Pavlodar (strongest), 11656V Petropavlovsk and 11663V Kyzylorda.
Quite strange channels these because they use same Video PID 308. Only Petropavlovsk using 288.
Btw. I saw that satellite with my occasional 150cm Gibertini. My motorized 125 stopped just about 85E. Other finnish dx:er got that 11653V 110 motorised dish but so far nothing from other frequencies. I wonder 86.5E footprints saying that it needs only 75cm dish here, no way..?
These footprint maps don't take into account the atmospheric effects of low elevation at the edges.
The elevation of Kazsat-2 at your location will be about 4 or 5 degrees!
You must be noticing signal variations or dropouts.
Probably if you try long enough, you'll get all Kazakh regionals.
I recall long ago (small trees!) such behaviour of 75 East (LMI-1) that has a similar elevation from here.
Yep, it´s 5.0° here. yesterday when was rainy day the only freq. fading quite a lot. Better weather today and light fading still but quite steady.
I found also today 90E and this bird is 3.4° here. This satellite has much better footprint? here and theres not any kind of fading. Apropos 300K clearly stronger than Yamal 201. This position already "known" here only from C-band. And its quite stable also. Only Turkmenistan freq. fading usually.
Within next days I will try 95E ME-beam (1.1°) and 96.5E ( only 0.4° here). Dont think I will get these but interesting to try anyway.
150cm gibertini dish, echostar 8700 analogue receiver to move dish, motor jaeger 1224,also black ultra ku lnb and esx241 c-band lnbf and technomate 5402hd ci+ super also added a Dr HD f15 receiver
You are right pride Only my "chatting english" is so dismal that its all the time difficult to describe other backrounds. So that 230 mesh is only for C-band use. Normally I using 125 motorized Gibby for Ku-band but now I have temporarily 150cm Gibby here. And because of this Holiday season and this years impenetrable weather (no snow and about +5C still) its nice to try that bigger gibby.
East has all open here so I can try it quite painlessly. Apropos after last postings I got yesterday veeery veery poor signal from 96.5E. Im sure 11500V gave light signal but no any chance to lock it, when I fine tuned dish with Satlink meter. But after about 20-years with satellite-tv it sure is fun to get new things. Specially C-band is that new and its been very, very nice to change knowledge and learn things from you guys here. Other finnish sat-guys in our forum are too "nerdies" and they talk mostly "Enigma2" and other reciever nerdie talks. Quite few interesting about new channels, specially channels outside Europe.
We should change our dishes CJ. Im more interesting about latin channels from western satellites. And getting 1 lousy channel from 40.5W Well, its horse racing channel from Argentina. Better anyway that only one would be God channel or something...
After long time 86.5E again available here
Today I made some kind of "podium" for my Ku-dish. I was hoping that 27.5W/30W would be easier on summer (because of trees). Naah, no help for these but accidentally eastside (86.5E) got some helps and now 2 frequencies coming with quite strong signal (11504V/ 11632V). Nothing else so far but other regionals will waiting there...
"TLE the satellite is still placed at 86.5°E. It takes a few days however for a geostationary satellite to start drifting after sudden loss of control.
So I wonder if signals are still there?"
