I can not view 10east and 57east and other ku bands.
I can get signals to most of the other main satellites. The dish is motorised.
What I am asking is if there is a way to receive ku band satellites with my 90cm dish. Is there a way to add more lnb to the dish set up

have updated 10east transponder but that did not result in any new channels being found. I think I might need either a ku band dish or a new lnb on my existing dish

What Lnb do you currently have ?

If you cannot get 10 east with your current set up you are probably not tracking the arc correctly provided you have a full view of the arc 45 east to 45 west,

Some satellites in your location may not be possible due to obstructions 57 east for example,

Make sure the pole it is mounted on is level with a spirit level,
The dish is mounted dead central on the motor spigot,
Set up your dish with the motor at zero on the scale on your reference satellite this is Intelsat 10-02 @ 1 west for London.

Kasat Event Dem
Ch-1

One other issue I have is that on 46east, I have locked the European channels, but unable to get the central asian beams, same issue with middle east beams don't seem to have much luck

Then you have located 10 East.
Which channels, or feeds, are you tring to get?

DSCN1458[1].webp These are strong transponders below on 10 east you may need to adjust your dish declination on your reference satellite to get feed satellites such as 10 east as they are weaker that 28.2 east & 19.2 east,

TV Zimbo comes in ok here on my 88cm dish 55% quality signal on TM5302HD,
Normally I get this with 90% SQ but the weather has restricted the signal today.

All you can change on your TM5502HD is the Latitude & Longitude the rest of the adjustments you mention are to do with the dish & motor,

It can be a bit daunting if you have never set up a dish before as you already get the strong satellites a little tweaking of your set up maybe all you need,

The Lnb on a motorised set up needs to be @ 12 o'clock on the scale you can try moving the Lnb further forward or back to see if this gives you a stronger signal,

Most motorised dish set up's are for the strong DTH satellites such as 42 east,28.2 east,23.5 east,19.2 east,13 east,1 west,5 west & 30 west,

You can get weaker satellites with a 90cm dish but the dish set up has to be very accurate as you are aiming at a small caravan approx 22,000 miles away.

You don't change the settings, on your receiver, except ensure the Latitude, and Longitude, are correct.
What are your signal quality readings on the channels you can receive?

On 10E the signal strength and quality is 84 and 79 per cent for the few channels I have received
 
Minus Longitude readings = West, positive = East.

That is good but the weaker signals from Zimbo you will get by fine tuning you current Longitude setting,

Find your weakest transponder on 10 east then:-

Go to motorised set up
Position setting,
Press ok then change your settings
Your Latitude we can leave alone should be at 51.5 North.

Change from say 0.0° west to 0.2° west then select go to position if the signal goes down then try 0.2° east ect ect.

ok thanks I will have a try at this soon. Just 1 further question, if I fail, is it worth me calling in an expert?

Yes but make sure He/She is registered as there are a lot of cowboys out there that can only set up a sky dish system & will bluff there way through a motorised dish system take 90 quid off you & vanish :eek:

But stay with it for a while as Mickha & myself have helped lots of people like yourself.

Your dish is far too small to get anything but the European beam on 46E

You will not get these even with a 180cm + Dish

Once you get beyond 45E (or W) then any 2-storey buildings in that direction may block the line of sight to the satellite because it is very low in the sky . That's what happened when someone built 2 small houses in that direction here - I used to be able to get to around 54-55E before that with an 80cm dish, but now I think 53.5 on the 100cm dish on the same ground-mounted pole is the limit. If the buildings are higher , then, of course, the arc becomes more restricted than that.

I also second William-1's comments and info about the correct alignment and declination of the dish - that is the most critical part of the solution to getting the best reception across a wide arc, and the necessary fine adjustment can be difficult and time-consuming.
