As per the earlier thread

I've uncovered a brand new/boxed 12" version of the same.

£50 , plus about £6 delivery secures it.

You're only getting the larger single motor, not the other one in the photo.

I can comine postage if you are interested in acquiring stuff further down the section that is still up for grabs.20190906_180712.jpg

As per the previous auction, whilst it does say 'optical' on the box, I doubt it has anything other than the reed switch, but give me a day to find out.

What system do you want to connect it to ?

I can connect the two optic sensor or reed switch to my positioner

I would buy it if there is an optical sensor if there is a reed switch : I am not interested.

OK, I will look inside the box tomorrow and take some pictures.

You still havent mentioned what you are going to drive the motor with, and your profile doesn't mention motorising.

this is to replace an elevation actuator on a SMR 1224 but not installed as originally.

It is not a picture of my installation

the positioner is not a positioner sold commercially (still in development ) (build by myself.)
This is a positioner created and developed by a French friend this year,

AZ / EL Positioner / with polarizer control and automatic control for LNB Changer

Hi cardiff

As you can see these boxes contain a motor that is suitable for the elevation design you have, but they are reed switch fitment.20191006_172306.jpg20191006_172312.jpg20191006_172318.jpg20191006_172324.jpg

Hello,

I just found by a friend in France, a 12-inch superjack actuator + the optical sensor (separately) it can replace the reed switch, because the superjack is suitable for putting the optical sensor.

It's not an Elevation actuator, it's an old superjack never used .

Thank's

The distance between the custom sleeves on most H to H motors (and sometimes the bolt diameter) is what prevents normal rose joint actuators from fitting within the gap.

A single gap between locking bolt and the actuator end also provides greater accuracy on a continuous inclined tracking system though most amateurs do not have this equipment.

So you strongly advise your Elevation Actuator rather than a current model
