I'll have a look VS, a blind scan came up empty yesterday. I do scan several tp but I'm assuming they are data.

Thanks Costa ..
It could be just fta on the European beam of course..

According to Lyngsat this is a European spot beam with South American channels. I have no signal at all but I have signal on the 2 data tp:

Thanks for looking Costa ..
Looks like a rare opening at this end then..
Don't expect it will remain fta for long.
;)

According to Lyngsat its nagravision 3 encryption. The only upper band tp that scans in for me is 12415 v 20000 which would be spillage from Echostar 16 at 61.w and encrypted as well as that is a dish network sat.

I am getting 50 channels here radio and tv on a 1mtr dish, I think the last time I scanned here I was getting 34, nice find VS, first time I have seen a fta channel here:).

Vlc has the codec as 4.2.2 strange as we know its not,
Capturedd.webp

Edit, they must have been messing about 4.2.0 now

Currently watching some soap opera with an in-programme banner ad for haemorroid ointment! Great find - but wondering do you still get anything on 12522H martin-f - nothing here at all?

Odd, not a sniffle here - getting 66% SQ on the Technomate on 12642H though.

12642 is strong with me 12.7 dB. 15 TV channels, with one FTA. 12522 very weak, 4.5 dB at the strongest and often losing lock. But I managed to scan in 19 TV and 16 Radio channels all encrypted.

hopefully it will stay fta although doubtfull... glad to see the TM5302HD is working ok m8

RTS has been in the clear for a few days now.

I thought I couldn't get this satellite. Fibo has a tree in the way... And 61W is 8º past my 58ºW C-band position on the 1.5m dish. Anyway turned that dish all the way to the software limit of the V-box and found a signal.

Occasionally as comment, a channel opens a season since last summer's assets located the tp, then close, this will be the second time it is opened, it does not last even a week, we will see that hard.

The tp 12642H can be tuned throughout the Iberian peninsula with 60cm antennas if obstructed the vision of the satellite.
The tp 12522H has much less signal occasionally stops broadcasting and then comes back like nothing better for this than >80cm or 100cm from the peninsula.

The tp 12509 V 6666 7/8, never.
Since 2005 I watch this position, I could never tune, try to LyngSat added tp 12563V27000 data, active from 2005 until late 2011, but being data, no.

-------------
Using the blind search (Blindscan) With this satellite.
The tuner Vu+DUO2 loses, very bad, in a complete search did not find anything, just delimiting the search to 200Mhz I find 1TP, much better an old tuner 2009 (FTE S200) or 30 seconds slow to a complete search (SD).

Hi,

Thanks for the thread.

Alicante 1.2m dish using TBS 5925 USB.

Was able to lock these 3 x frequencies.

61.0ºW.webp

Scan shows results in the MHz range, the third item with a SNR of 3799.......
¿What would '4293243' convert to from the 950 to 2150 MHZ range to an input frequency in my receiver.

I lack the knowledge with this field, and wondered if you could indicate for me where to get the 'how to' on this conversion.

Thanks for this and best wishes.

4293243 ???
4293045
4292925

12642-12522=120
4293045-4292925=120
4293243-4293045=198

12522+120=12642+198=12840 ????

4292925....12522
4293045....12642
4293243....12840 ????

------------------------------------
The analyzer is limited to 12750 and I can not see if the result is correct 12840.
Several sporadic transmissions between 12460-12476 are.
In 12705 we see a sporadic transmission in 12732.
Not last long enough for a photo (I am very slow).
