MP3 is a lossy format and - more often than not - compressed , which Evan is doing his best to avoid.

WAV can be either compressed or lossless. If you're going the lossless route then FLAC is superior as you can encode track information in tags.

I could post images of Rachel in a thong at this point, but though it might stall progress.

I uncovered a decent set of headphones that I stashed away before Christmas and surprisingly, my hearing has suddenly improved with highest frequency of 14.5kHz now . Additionally I can hear stuff down as low as about 15Hz, which is nice.
