Not a joke - this happened. Yesterday, what looked like a birthday card came through the letterbox with the rest of our (correctly delivered) mail. It was: - posted in Croydon - addressed to a Mrs J L**** - my wife's first name begins with an S and our surname begins with an A - to a house in a street with a name beginning Se**** - our street name begins with St - to a village/town with a name beginning Sh - our town name begins Ha - that village/town is "Nr Stratford-on-Avon" - we are part of Greater London - the destination county is Warwickshire - we were once part of what was then Middlesex - to a Post code begining CV37 - our Post Code begins UB However, they did get one thing right - the House Number!!! :-wow Will be posting the card onto the lady this afternoon - hope she gets it in time:) PS: part of the franking on the envelope says "Royal Mail supporting youth mental health with Action for Children" - I think they need to look "closer to home"
