It looks like this satellite is just about out of range for me with my 100cm Dish..

In principle there are no signal tests on a transponder with generic streams. Being a transmission in this format,I think it has been activated for a period that we don't know.Yet this stream does not contain anything now.For this reason,yes,it is very possible that transponder is in the tests.

I don't know LP.I am not an expert.But looking at the Quality level.I do not think that I will get much from this satellite.As I said though it is nice to get a something from it.
As I was typing this I had a scan going.Another one has turned up.I don't know if belongs there or has been posted.

Just tried ebs and crazy scan on 3W and all I pick up at the moment is a load of bleed over from 1 & 4W

12551 V 16666 is still data.

Since a week, ABS-3, the old placeholder/predecessor at this location, is moving West slowly with 0.3° per day.
Launched 1997 as Agila 2, with a lifetime of 12 years, this could mean the end for this satellite, but the orbit is not raised properly (yet).

Indeed it's not over, ABS-3 is going to 16°W: ABS » Satellite Fleet
Will be there on 1 November.

Been waiting for a lock on this sat as it is my zenith sat, and I have just been out to adjust the dish :-)

I had to move the dish away from 4 west to stop signal bleed over from Amos now in the middle of 1 west & 4 west @ 2.5 west.

100cm + TM5502HD

Got this on 11575 V with an Snr of 11db.
Using 1.5 dish but easy receivable with smaller ones.
