I am on the boarder of Costa Blanca Costa Azahar Costa Valencia...all part of Communidad Valencia, in the south of the Valencia province, but cover the Alicante province also (gawd this gets complicated!)

been doing photos of "interesting" installations for a number of years now and posting them on my site - many failed "yeso" and "dry mix" concrete bases, many other interesting installations, including the "how to connect a cable to an LNB with no F connector but with a bit of tape and the old "ram it up" method", and the old "how to connect two cables together without using a barrel f connector but just wrap the cables together with some tape" methods.

Thats why i am not doing those receivers and packages until i find a supplier that does then at a reasonable price, not a rip off price. And probably why on some expat forums here some installers / dealers will not discuss prices on the forums...and ask for posts that have these type of prices be removed!

I always have some ready to be put on there - but yes you are right some real shockers - and in many cases I can guess who did them and the clients usually confirm it by the look of shock in their eyes when i am correct!

So it looks like the story about the carded being siliconed in the box is nonsense... or maybe it is something being done by some dealers so they can sell more kit.

Signal is jumping 0% to 40%... i just scanned the AD Sports HD 3-8... but now no signal

yes mate trying that now, not looking to good.

Cant find any options to add/edit transponders at all either.

Have you got some admc working out there now?

Spoke to tech digital, heres the response:

"The satellite seems fine.
It seems the tuner on the Humax box is not strong.
We have to give the box no and the card no to activate
This will get registered to a middle east name and address
"

Its poor.

You can see in the pictures below, fortec has 50% signal, where as ADMC box has 0!
