are you getting 26E ok mate?

Do you think my 1.8 would get 26E? Because I would need to dog the ground back out (concrete) and put a much higher pole in and try clear the wall/trees as i cant cut the tree, its council property :(
 
I get everything on 26 East badr 6,with signal from 58%- 82% no picture break up,i think you
would get Badr 6 with a 1.8m you are further east than me.

I will have to try and raise the poll higher and clear my wall as i really want to recieve ad sports, although it may be on 7w? I got showtime fine last year?

the problem is to extend the pole i need someone who can come weld more on but my friends cant weld to this metal :( and people dont do mobile welding anymore due to health and safety so not sure how to raise it
 
A bigger diameter tube slid over the original? You would have to find the perfect fit though.
Just a idea.

that thought come to my mind mate, i would dig out the poll but seriously the pole is concreted in so well i really am not sure its going to come out!!! lol

typical, the one with the harder footprint, what exactly is kuband and c band? And how do you get C band? Sorry to sound dumb, its new to me!

It depends what LNB you have attached to it. Most likely KU.

C-band typically needs a dish 2.5 times the size to receive the same signal level as the wavelength is 2.5 times longer... and you need a C-band LNB.
 
ah so where as the C band footprint covers the UK, i would need a HUGE dish to recieve it?
 
Just wait, it wont be C Band and will be on a bird at 7w (but don't know which one yet)
