Hello guys wonder if you can help me i got a new admc sport box today with a card insted of the ones inside the mainboad very impressed i get 70-80% on all the admc sport 3-7 :0 I Cant get admc sport 8 fox movies hd fox neo hd sky new hd ect on 11823 v? im gutted is this normal are we just to far to pull this tp in can anyone help me or is she facing glitches tonight? thanks

As the channels you're receiving are listed on the horizontal polarity, and the ones you're not are listed on the Vertical polarity I'd check that your receiver is actually switching polarity. Can you try scanning in a few FTA vertical channels on your receiver? Ones that you're sure you can pick up.

hello thanks for that i tried my tm 6900 went to that tp the same happend nuthing both work on v h tp ive pulled in evry single one just no signal on that tp i didnt know if that is normal because of all this being what it is fring reception i just though if i can get 80% on 11766h i must be able to get 11823v with the rest of the admc channels

Checking the beam maps both seem to be the same, so you should get some signal. Try altering the information slightly, try 11825 V 27500 DVB S2 8QPSK 5/6, also try it during the day.

Yeah I checked the beams too and yes your right both the same I don't know if it's a tempry thing? Is there any admc views out there thar can confirm? I'll try altering it later Thanks for your help

Have you checked other vetical polarity channels? If you check the signal strength/quality readings of Horizontal, and vertical, channels, that are using the same beam, you might notice a difference, which could be down to LNB skew or even a faulty LNB.
Hopefully someone will post their signal strength/quality readings, of these two frequencies, on Badr 6, 26E, so that we can see if the problem is with your set up or the satellite itself.

I had a quick look lastnight on badr 6 I'm getting 60 to 80% on both v/h tp and badr4/5 it says 100 100 so its there just not on that tp I'll have a little play with when I get in

Had a Little play with the box just can't seem to get anything on that tp I don't really know what to do ?

It doesnt work like that bud. The transmitting dish surfaces on the bird have minute irregularities on them and you often find that for extreme fringe reception that one polarity is MUCH stronger than the other one.

So for Astra 2|D in parts of Spain / Cyprus one polarity can be double the power of the other

SORTED! come on!

Screen cap is remarkably similar to Humax Foxsat.

the settings for the humax box by default are wrong the correct ones are 11823 V, DVB-S2, QPSK, SR 27500, FEC 5/6

When my dish was at 26 East last summer, this is the signal i got on Admc Sport 8.

That`s very true i don`t have the admc box any more, the tuner on it was the worst i had ever used.I sold the box and card too garryg last august.

yeah i wonder what he did with all them boxes? i had his 1.8 cm off him , if you wanted a box im sure there better now than they were because i get a better signal on my admc box than i did with my tm6900
