Yep, they can be 'yanked' off, but you have to pull real hard. LOL

Sounds like you've done that before Robbo :D

Waste not want not! P.

( especially when you've just forgot to put the hole tidy on!:-DOH! it gives you extra strength)

thanks guys so if i got something like the following i could crimp(compress)the wf100 and rg6/58/59 cables then
280548277226 ebay
280473545396 cheers

Yes, those two work well enough on wf100/RG6.

Not sure about RG58 though which has a characteristic impedance of 50 ohms or RG59 for that matter.

Should do well. Those are compression not crimp.

For smaller diameter cables, the compression tool will still work, I use compression connectors for WF-65-cu shotgun cable: CABELCON CX3 Compression `F` Conn 0.65mm

Not sure about RG59, apart from CCTV, can't see many uses for it.

thanks guys order placed cheers

just received and tried the above. one word "SUPERB"

a bit off subject but does anyone know if you can get the ordinary tv connectors in compression please

Not seen them , only Crimp on ones.

You an buy F to Tv plug adapters though.

Cablecon products rules.

Might be worth considering the Cabelcon self install connectors also; no crimp or compression tool req. Use them a fair bit now, good quality.

5.1 for Wf100 type.

Hi can you pm me details on where i could buy these connectors, they look very good and would like to use them.
