I am looking to upgrade into multi satellite, and looking for some advice/guidance as not sure where to start.

I am looking for a fixed dish multi satellite system as we still will need a signal to Astra at 28.2 for the Son's sky in his bedroom and Freesat TV, the hope to be able to pick up 19.2, 16, & 13 by using an Inverto MultiConnect 4 sat system kit from Satellite Superstore.

I would also like some advise on what would be a suitable receiver to use, and have been looking at the Technomate TM6900HD as this fits in with my budget.

Would I need to buy anything else apart from cable if using the above set up, I know I will need to get a Quad LNB so Sky / Freesat will still work, but not sure if I will need to buy any Diseqc switches, CAM's etc..

Thanks for any advice given in advance.

Hi, from your description, a 4x1 DISEqC switch required if not supplied with the kit. Regards to CAM'S etc, depends on viewing requirements.

have you looked at a wave frontier toroidal t90 dish? It is fixed and for a little extra provides the opportunity to pull in more satellites.

Cheaper and quite decent options to the Toroidal would be the Raven 90 cm (if you can find one) or the Triax 110.

I believe that the TM6900 is a very good choice as it allows the ability to receive HD from both satellite and DTT.

A diseqc switch (about £5 pounds) will indeed be needed for the required configuration; a CAM is not particularly required at this stage, from the information provided.

Hi I did look at the Toroidal T90, but it seems from all the reports I read that it is not that suitable for Wall Mounting, so the search goes on. But Project on hold due to Washing Machine going wrong.

No problem with wall mounting a Torroidal dish, you just need a big enough offset to allow positioning.
