gap30, Sounds like you are making good progress. My understanding of configuring DiSEqC switches is moderate to poor. However, for a 4 way switch it might be best to use DiSEqC mode 1.0 in your satellite receiver. If you enter the satellite setup option in your receiver, scroll to the DiSEqc 1.0 option and select "1 of 4" for all the satellites that will get signals from the LNB that is connected to port 1 of your switch. Similarly, in the satellite setup of the receiver select "2 of 4" for all satellites that will get signals from the LNB that is connected to port 2 of your switch and so on....up to 4 LNB's If you are using the same receiver for both C Band and Ku Band you will also need to set the LNB type correctly in each satellites setup profile in the receiver. For example if you wish to receive both C Band and Ku Band from the same satellite then you need two profiles for that satellite in your receiver, one for C band and one for Ku Band. The DiSEqC setting for the C Band profile would point to your switch port that is connected to the C Band LNB, the DiSEqC setting for the Ku Band profile would point to the switch port that is connected to your Ku Band LNB. I hope my attempt at explaining it above is easy to follow? If one of the DiSEqC gurus pops along and reads the topic they will be able to provide a more precise explanation. Rgds
