Hi.All.
First post,sky install exp. from UK but now in Cyprus at 34deg55'N/32deg28@E(google earth) with 2.7M fixed Ali dish with Invacom QDF-031 lnb , pretty good signal but breaks up on weak stations and weather sensitive, so today I thought I'd have a look...2 drops both F's loose, (one corroded)no caps on spare outs,LNB loose in bracket, front flange loose(circular ali disc don't know what you call it)drops from LMB not secured...a bit of a mess.
All put right, had no signal strength and no lock, check frequency and found it had shifted reset to 11.740 V(as advised locally) got Sig.& lock
then tried some of the freqs. I've found on here 12.207V is same strength but a lot better quality.
I'm not happy that the LNB is central, how do you check it? Also is it possible to motorise a dish this size and would it be worth it.
The ali flange referred to earlier was loose, is this adjustable or should it be screwed up tight.
