Hi! I am trying to align my dish to 27.5°W. The problem is that I haven't any DVB-S2 STB or any reliable software to see the signal strengh on my computer. Do anyone have any suggestions that would help me? Is there any ku band DVB-S transponders active or any good software that I can use to see the signal strengh?

Yes it is not easy to align dish to 27.5°W because a few transponders in use.
But You can first align dish to 30°W.
Much easier. And then push a few degrees to east and up little bit.

Without DVB-S2 this position is pretty useless ;)

I can't get any plain DVB-S transponder

My TechniSat SkyStar S2 is DVB-S2 but I can't find any software to measure the signal strengh and quality. I tried Prog satfinder and Fast Satfinder but none of them worked very well

To read signal quality and strength, you'll have to find the position and a transponder first.

Yes.....start off with the easy one at 30.0ºW to locate then move as advised above.

EBSpro Lite should do the job:-

Good luck with this. respect-048.gif
