Good evening,

I hope someone can help, i have 2 fixed dishes setup I now need to align them one to 28.2 e and the other 30w both on a multiswitch system.

My question is can I align the dish using a Quattro if yes which port would I use? would I use the channel 4 transponder as it is quite strong?

Same question for Hipasat 30w.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi
What meter are you using?
With a spectrum analyser one can select the corresponding band to that of the lnb port.
For meter preset frequencies / transponders you need to connect to the correct LNb port for the meter to lock and read parameters.

Don't know that meter or if you can manually set the voltage and tone. If not, connect up and go to present freq/ transponder 41 (astra2). Then align on LNb port Horz/ Low.

Is there a transponder which gives of a strong signal like channel 4?

Why don't you change the lnb to a Universal , align the dishes then change back over .

Best not to change lnb after alignment.

Wont help with the fine adjustment of Skew afterwards but still a good idea
