Aljazeera card 1-8

Guys a question,


i have just bought an aljazeera 1-8 card with an irdetto 2 cam, i have started using it in a teck 6800, i thought that was the right thing, i suppose it was, a while later i was using a teck 1500 and out of curiousity i slipped the card in the card slot of the 1500 and all the channels started working straight away, do you think it will be alright to leave the card in the 1500 slot, as far as the cam and 6800 is concerned every 20 mins to 30 mins a little glitch pixelation etc! comes on the screen for a second, slightly irritating. I have read up about hd boxes and from all acounts sometimes they can come up with little problems due to the new technology, mind one thing, the dish is inside the back bedroom.
 
the card should work fine in the card slot of the 6800, did you try that ?

if all the channels are working then it will be fine to leave in the card slot, its only when 1-4 channels only work that it needs a cam to work.

since when did aljazeera sport use irdeto 2 thought the new hotbird cards were viacess 3?

They're both. When I ordered one they said only Irdeto were available. Later they rang me and asked if I'd have a Viaccess because the Irdeto stock had run out.

yes i have tried the card in the 6800 slot it says invalid card, yet the strange thing is it works great in the teck 1500 card slot, i have just had it in there for 2 hours and no problems at all. I think i am going to get in touch with the guy who i bought the cam from, i also put the cam in an 0ld echostar 3000 with the card and i was surprised it worked in there but again after about 20 mins there was pixilation for a second on the tv.
 
I Have Got A Aljazeera card 1-8 Irdeto. i have a tm9100s But My Reciever Will Not Read It.
 
I think (not sure) that the Technomate 6800 has to be 'patched' to turn it into multicrypt to read cards of different encryptions; don't know if this is also the case with the 9100.

i would say it works in the 6800 and also in the echostar 3000, but it has this irritaing thing of evey 20 mins or so of pixilation for a second or so, in the tek1500 card slot its great and thats where i am keeping it
 
well in my tm 6800 running 6.79p apr 17 2009 patch
tha irdeto card activtes and runs 100% no problems.????


try this patch 6.79
 
I have the Irdeto one on Hotbird. It works fine on my Manhattan XT-CM without cam. I tried a cam too and it was okay. I do get a occasional NO IRDETO access msg but once I select JSC+8 it works well. I suppose it could be a update signal

yes on the teck 1500 i got a scrambled logo last night, oh no i said to myself, but it soon disapeared, probably it will work similar to yours in the manhatton. I got in touch with the guy at totalsat and he told me to send the cam straight back and they will replace it with another, so i think thats going to be okay

yeah possibly. well at least totalsat r ok not FALCONSAT.
 
hej guys. i have a VACI-5350 HUMAX RECEIVER. It`s actually good and am using it now and am receiving hotbird and astra with no problem. i would like to buy the new aljazeera card to view sport. is this receiver compatible with this card. if the answer is no what about ..HYRO 5010S RECEIVER with one card slot will it work with the card.... thanks issa sweden.
 
Al Jazeera Sports uses Viaccess 3.0 or Irdeto. You will need to check your receiver is compatible with whichever one of these you purchase.
