ps. i dont have a sky sub of any kind, also, i just hooked it upto a communal dish catv or sumthin ??

Enjoy it while it lasts, it should be knocked out soon though.

I had one that lasted 4 months after my mate canceled it:-lmao

They asked him to pay for the 4 months of viewing which he politely declined after telling them he had canceled it and he had proof (He reccords his telephone conversations) :-lmao

They soon backed down. :-rofl2

No its not normal and its very bad, so send it to me and i will take the rap if they find out.

hah. funny u ask about sky plus, i knocked up a wee dish in the balcony and just got sky plus recording.. heh..i know it wont last, but if i like it i might just subscribe..

and you can use the sky plus facilities with sky freeview but they charge £10 a month for the privilege !..its a pretty good recorder tho.. imho.

Even if they stop the subscription I think you will still be able to record. I have a old sky plus in my workshop and it can still record.

no, recording facility gets swiped.

If a Sky+box is unplugged from the mains before the subs is terminated - and stays off for 3-6 months just occasionally it misses the "kill the pvr recording" commands.

If its then plugged in again a few months down the line the recording still works.
