I was surprised to see that my Sony TV doesn't have the Amazon App and had to use Samsung Blu-Ray drive which works well. Then I went to a friend's home and saw that their LG TV doesn't have the Amazon App and that LG hasn't made any firmware update for a long time. Perhaps they stopped supporting older models. So now that Amazon US has opened the doors to 200 countries to watch Amazon Prime Video, I expected that they would ship their Amazon Fire Stick to Israel. To my surprise, they still will not ship. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that Roku products can be shipped to Israel. Ordered the Roku Express today and apparently it includes a power adapter to power the Roku Express in case there is no free USB connector on the TV or the power is not strong enough. BUT when I tried to find out the voltage rating of the power adapter, I couldn't find it anywhere. Then looked for Youtube Unboxing video clips in the hope that someone would give a closer shot of the power adapter label. Success - Voltage rating is 110V-120V So it should give me a nice explosion and probably cause a fire if I use it without a voltage converter. I will not use it of course and will just buy a power adapter from a local shop before I receive the gadget.
