I can't find a specific section so I will post on here...no mention of this box anywhere in this forum which surprised me a bit, seems an interesting receiver, android based etc and appears to decode 4k transmissions and has 16APSK hmm...

Yeah I saw that myself which prompted me to ring them up, the guy said he had been using the blind scan himself... watch this space anyway
 
Also had one with the Bank Holiday offer. It runs Spark2 which does include blind scan.
Will also report back...

Ah well done, not a bad deal I thought, just waiting for mine to arrive today, I was a bit late checking the email about the offer

I have the original A3 with the pain in the arse wireless remote, the combo uses infrared so should be better behaved. Blindscan was very fast on the original A3 so expecting the same with the combo. Can't fully test mine until I get home on Friday though. A steal at that price, couldn't resist it!!

Oh yes sure ditto, DHL are late though, still not delivered :(
 
One good thing about Android satellite boxes is that they either come already with CCcam installed or one can add CCcam and/or OScam plugins.
Check Youtube if this is of interest.

Got it today, Solid little box, well made, much smaller that I thought, will test it out later...it's the bomb as someone half my age would say !
 
Quick test on Ka band 19E, I like it, lightening fast channel change etc..Blind scan found around 10 feeds and was done in 2 mins. For the price, can't complain..
More testing over the weekend, will try out the 4K.
 
Hmm this is some receiver, quite amazing, just scratching the surface with this...
 
The DVB-T2 tuner seems rather sensitive though I can't seem to download the channel icons but the EPG works fine
 
Tuner is extremely sensitive on satellite, should be good for DXers....

I'll have a look for a more specific Section to move this to, later on.

Failing which, I'll ask Admin to create one.
