Amos-2 has been retired

The frequency plan of Amos 7, should be something like this:

10984 V 54-MHz
10986 H 54-MHz
11044 V 54-MHz
11046 H 54-MHz
11104 V 54-MHz
11106 H 54-MHz
11164 V 54-MHz
11166 H 54-MHz

11484 V 54-MHz
11486 H 54-MHz
11544 V 54-MHz
11546 H 54-MHz
11604 V 54-MHz
11606 H 54-MHz
11664 V 54-MHz
11666 H 54-MHz

12280 V 54-MHz
12300 H 54-MHz
12340 V 54-MHz
12360 H 54-MHz
12400 V 54-MHz
12420 H 54-MHz
12460 V 54-MHz
12480 H 54-MHz
12520 V 54-MHz
12540 H 54-MHz
12580 V 54-MHz
12600 H 54-MHz
12640 V 54-MHz
12660 H 54-MHz
12700 V 54-MHz
12720 H 54-MHz

I don't know the allocation of beam..

Hi Marcus_21, the trouble is, there must be 24 * 54 MHz transponders, not 32.
So for your scheme above, some transponders need to be removed.

From above (page 9) I concluded 10.95...11.2 GHz would be the band in addition to 12.25...12.75 GHz, and all would fit perfectly!

Inter-beam switching is present, that doesn't make things easier.

There are 24 active.. this does not mean that you can use only 24 frequencies.

Understood, but nowhere did I read something like: 32 total, of which 24 active transponders.
But just one press office need to make a mistake, and all others follow that!
Are you confident enough to draw a plan yet? Then I can scrap my copy/pasted provisional plan. :D

However, if they have to be 24... it is most likely does not have the txp the range 12250 ~ 12750 vertical.

Please excuse my bad English..

Edit: I am 100% sure only of txp 11484 V, 12300 H, 12360 H, 12420 H.. and 11546 H, 11666 H (the last two can vary by a few MHz).

Your English is fine, and what you say is always clear, don't worry!

...as said by a Dutch native speaker...

India Beam use 12.25-12.5 GHz only (plus 12.5-12.75)
If the satellite covers other region(s), these transponders use probably 11.45-11.7 Ghz
looks like IS-10, Measat-3, Apstar-7, Apstar-7B (Chinasat-12)...

24 Up TP, 32 Down, 24 active, I think :)
