Another Channel Master SMC 1m20 restoration X2

It remains to find how to fix the side arms and choose the final length of the central arm.
As I've mentioned earlier, it is not a bad idea to use original mounting points for new feedarms. On the picture, the black thing goes inside the hole in the antenna. And to have adjustment possibilities, you better make all the feedarms length-adjustable (see on the attached picture).IMG_20221113_091803a.jpg

Of course I saw your work on this part.
Your solution makes the most sense to me.
I would like to find a solution using the current arms.
Just have a modification on the LNB side.
I'm still looking a little on my side but I think I'll end up doing like you.

I have already identified products to go in your direction

Older Ducati bikes (and I would think others ) use a grommet with captive nut inside them for fixing seats/side panels/fairings to the frame.

Various thread sizes are available beyond 6mm from here

I will test the whole range I have in stock first :)

Agreed, But its impossible to achieve that even with shiny white.

My dish focus the sun every single day.

Where do you guys live? Saudi Arabia? Even there its impossible, I worked there its hell on earth.
FWIW someone in the UK found their Bullseye LNB cap had melted yesterday. No mention of dish colour or finish.
