I think I will park work on polar-mount as well: angle-grinder suddenly stopped working. Brushes are OK. Will check cable and than we'll see.
Managed to unscrew in natural way only one screw (marked green), the rest are cut and another ones going to be cut. IMG_20150412_140106 (Large).jpg

Not much update here. Have all PM parts apart. Certainly need sandblast to prepare metal for painting. Perhaps I will conciser to replicate this PM in INOX. IMG_20150505_174631 (Large).jpg

I think I've forgotten to add another piece of PM to the picture. Elevation adjustment bolt (circled green) is so rusty than it does not make sense to try to renovate it. I did not cut it off by angle-grinder for only couple of reasons; first- I still have problems with angle-grinder brushes, and secondly, I can cut this bolt any time in the future without any difficulties.
