Push Button "Go Advanced" and than "Manage Attachments"
 
And beware size limitations - around 500kB depending upon format.

If too big, shrink them with PixResizer.

When you've succeeded, I'll weed out these past few Posts so folk can see the wood for the trees!

With a bit of luck these will be my first photos of Toroidal dish. Note the green lichen or similar that grows on everything here in wet unpolluted Northwestern Spain.


ps - I edited previous post as I think/hope I've cracked it!

Look fine to me - don't forget they appear as Thumbnails: Click on them then click on + and all the resolution is there.

T90 next to the only non-orange Televés dish I've seen in these parts. 1metre dish is focused on 9º East. Second shot is taken from behind peeping over T90, looking south across garden cum jungle.

May I ask where in NW Spain? Galicia or Asturias? Had a magical holiday in the latter not long ago.

Do the farmers still leave beheaded snakes out for the Corvids to eat?

I love Asturias and its people, but I live 10km southwest of the Roman walled city of Lugo or Lucus Augusti in Latin. I'm lucky enough to have a 10,000 square metre "garden" which means there's plenty of room for satellite dishes, and all manner of space consuming pass times. Garden is home to many animals, with frequent sightings of red squirrels, bats, owls, hawks. Outside the wall live wild boar and Roe Deer, which attract hunters on Sundays during the shooting season. We keep our heads low as the hunters warm their bodies with aguardiente, "fire water" and have been known to shoot passers-by or their companions by mistake.

Haven't tackled the skew problem yet. With no skew of the dish I pick up Astra 1 only if the LNB head is flush with the LNB bar, i.e. with no LNB holder, so obviously adjustment is required. However I don't want to gain Astra 1 at the sacrifice ( even small ) of quality on 7º East, so it's going to take a lot of tinkering to get the most out of the dish, bearing in mind I'm quite far West and perhaps don't enjoy very powerful signals from, for example 7º East.

Just set it how I said at the beginning and it will work fine. 13ºE at the centre and skew at 105º. I get 7ºE fine on my T90, but I'm 1000km south-east of you where the sun is always shinning.
 
Will have another go next weekend, weather permitting. I'm quite happy making minor adjustments in the rain, but this requires taking old TV and Vantage receiver round the back near dishes. Must-have signals are 5W, and 7,9,13,19E. 26 and 28E have their own dishes. Your suggestion of receiving Arabsat on the150cm central focus Astra2 dish hasn't been tried yet, but I don't know if I'll be able to get the 2 LNBs close enough together.
 
If you are going 5ºW to 19ºE on the T90 put the 7ºE LNB dead centre and skew the dish 102º.

If you have a 150cm prime focus dish aligned on 28ºE, 26ºE is not possible. Even on a 1.8m dish it doesn't work properly. In the end I took the 26ºE LNB off my 1.8m PF dish and put it on the T90 (which made me lose some of my west satellites). 28ºE/26ºE works fine on an offset 1.5m dish.

Am I understanding you right in that putting an extra LNB for 26E on a PF dish zeroed in on 28.2E wont work, but it will probably work on an offset dish? I was thinking about trying exactly 26E on my CM180 aimed at 28E - but maybe this won't work properly??

That's correct, as long as the dish is big enough for 26ºE. Here an 80cm dish is plenty. In the attached picture the central LNB is 28ºE, and the other two Ku-band LNBs are 26ºE and 23.5ºE on a 1.5m offset dish.

ok, thanks. Was thinking of sticking another LNB on the T55, but I don't think this will cut the muster.
Therefore are small modification to the CM180 seems attractive (although it will require some mods to the LNB assembly; it doesn't really support multiple LNBs as it comes from the factory 8-).
The downside is that the (narrow) beam-width of the CM180 means that signal falls off quite sharply (as least so my meter tells me). But 2 degrees should still be reasonable.

Actually, I'm going to start a new thread on this, so we don't hijack Hughes original hijack...
