That was slot array, no discrete components except at the back of the unit. Not so difficult to make either since the satellites were single polarity only. Still expensive though (and easily damaged)
 
The planar antennas have the two polarities, 1LNB models up to 4 LNB's universal and for some months, and also to powerful satellites spaced 6 degrees (Astra and Hot Bird 19ºE to 13ºE, etc.).
Equivalent to a 40cm antenna 33'7dB i +/-. :-doh
Measures 527x520x112mm.
You now have average antenna for satellite and half to the other.

Observed on the surface the inclination to tune these 2 satellites to 6'2 degrees of separation.

Las antenas planas tienen las 2 polaridades, modelos de 1LNB hasta 4 LNB's universales y desde hace unos meses, tambien para satelites potentes y separados 6 grados (Astra a 19ºE y Hot Bird a 13ºE, etc.).
Equivale a una antena de 40cm33'7dBi +/-.:-doh
Medidas 527x520x112mm.
Ahora tienes media antena para un satelite y la otra mitad para el otro.
