Any lnb test reviews lately?

I did more tests, also taking a Megasat High Gain.
I did the tests on different satellites and with different weather conditions.
In summary my (I stress mine, with my gibertini 100 antenna and my reception conditions) ranking is:
1. Megasat High Gain
2. Fracarro UX-S LTE rev.1
3. Digiquest LNB500A
and below the others.
In the long run, with several tests under different reception conditions, the Fracarro outperformed the Digiquest.
For now I would say my tests stop here, I don't think more can be achieved.
Any links to this fracarro rev1 lnb and do we have a twin version?

I've conducted more tests with this and other LNBs.
The reference satellite was 7° East, using some of its feeds, with a Gibertini 100 antenna.

First, an important discovery: not all Fracarro 287337 UX-S LTE LNBs are the same. The "rev.1" version performs well, while the "rev.3" is absolutely terrible. They can be easily distinguished: the rev.1 has an off-center connector, whereas the rev.3 has it centered.

I found this out the hard way when my first rev.1 unit failed after a few months. When I replaced it, I realized—not without frustration—that the performance of these LNBs varies significantly between revisions.

After multiple purchases, I ended up testing the following models:
  • Megasat Diavolo (latest version, hoping for top performance)
  • Fracarro 287337 UX-S LTE rev.1
  • Fracarro 287337 UX-S LTE rev.3
  • Digiquest LNB500A (advertised with a 0.3 dB noise figure)

After a full morning on the roof—don’t ask me why—the best performer on the 7° East feeds turned out to be the Digiquest LNB500A, roughly on par with the Fracarro rev.1. The Megasat Diavolo followed, with the Fracarro rev.3 coming in last.
I plan to run more tests on different satellites, but I must admit… things are getting pretty confusing!
All tests were conducted on weak signals, of course.

I have seen rev 2 inscribed on the lnb referred to as rev1. You may like to check again.

You have to ask to vendor, You have to ask the seller what it says on the back. I did so and managed to find a rev 1 on ebay.
In the one that works well for me the label says “rev. 1”.

Is there anyone to tell me his opinion of normal lnb for example inverto ultra black single ... is ok in signal
reception for prime focus dish as well? Instead of the flange one? Has anyone tried that ... without feedhorn
just the lnb in brucket in a prime focus 1.80 or 2.40 dish

I bought the chinese lnb with the 70db but it failed to give better results than the inverto ultra black flange lnb
The problem is that because i rput the plastic bruckett from the beginning now i cannot receive in 7east the
good signal as it was before. Any ideas try to remove left right the dish 2.40 maybe? I noticed that signal gets
stronger if lnb goes towards the ground and not direct to the dish.

Your dish is either misaligned to the satellite, warped, or the feed arms are not centred correctly.

@Channel Hopper this morning i was more lucky i suppose.
I decided to put the extension as i had it before for thor 0.8west
So after i reinstalled the triangle plastic brucket the signal improved in both 7east and 0.8west
So i am happy now! I think the problem was the plastic brucket was a little bit ... inches maybe off??

In 7 east 11.011v ... from 8.5 db it went 12.5db

In 0.8west 11.823h from 70% it went 80%

If someone knows which lnb gives the best results for Hellas Sat 39e in a wave frontier T90.
For example ultra black gives 83% here 10730h, megasat diavolo latest version gives 86%.
Anyone has a better outcome? The new megasat white 70db gain someone tested? Thanks.

I have used my spare 1.80 dish for hellas sat 39 east with inverto ultra black signal in 10730h 16.8db
Is it ok or with another lnb maybe better results? If yes i need it to be in front like the inverto
ultra black as my bruckett of lnb is not in good shape.

I have personally tested a huge number of Lnbs. For tele satellite, the megasat diavlo red and invacom twin flange lnb give me the best results.
@Beli1910 Invacom twin flange LNB gives you same results as a Megasat Diavolo ? Have you ever try to modify a Megasat Diavolo into flange LNB ?

I haven't played with it at all, but I plan to when I have time.

I have modified them. The twin version of the devil is currently sitting on my 5.2 meter dish. It's the best so far in comparison to invacom single, golden media twin, mti twin triax ttw 200, x2 hd twin among others and that's why it's sitting on the dish. I have to clarify that I am yet to seriously pit the single against the twin. I tried on a 80 cm dish sometime ago and the single had an urge.

Trying to find some Megasat Diavolo lnb sellers that will ship to the UK in my experience is really difficult.

The V1 or the V2 I mean.

Try 'Sathelden' on eBay in Germany, he stocks them and ships to the UK. Had a couple of things off him, no problems.

Tried this seller but says they only have version 3.

Posters in this thread have reported V3 to not be as good as V1 and 2.
