any mac osx users on here?

How do you install a pci card on mac osx?

A link to a tutorial or a few pointers would be great.
It's not for me but for a friend and I can't find a page on the web anywhere that tells me what he should be doing

What's the card for?

I think some cards will just work, but I would usually try to download a driver from the makers if it needs it, though a lot of them seem to have stopped OSX support! Depends who makes it.

not sure what the card is but know it's pci
Should OS X auto detect it
If not how do you manually add a new pci device

It's probably usb 2.0 card but I'm guessing

Does it say in the blurb with the card that it is Mac compatible. As I've a
nasty feeling that the only Mac compatible sat device is a USB one at the moment.
