Read its claimed to be a big contender for the DM8000 at half the price. Lots of suppliers views but any owners views?

I recieve mine a few days ago and I installed VTI 1.0 on it.

This is my first HD reciever but for me the image quality is top.
2 concerns for the time being
- the remote control -> the DM remote is much reactive and I prefer its ergonomy
- lack of forum for support (or at least I still didn't find them)

That is always a problem for early adopters of new kit. Give it a few months and support will slowly build up for it.

My remote is very reactive but lack of television control led me to buy a Harmony 515 universal remote. Works superbly and setting up is straight forward. Just tell the software the model numbers of your equipment and the codes are downloaded to it from Logitechs vast database. If the model is not in the database it also has a fully customiseable learning ability. Well worth the £25
