Anyone else having script issues with Ebay ?

For the last few days when searching or browsing Ebay ..
Often the ability to scroll up or down is halted ..and this appears ?
Only on Ebay ..and I suspect not malicious since it wasn't intercepted ...but is bloody annoying and frustrating.
I suspect it's some sort of data mining by Ebay to see what your interests and searches are about ...
But they'll soon lose me as a frequent user if they start being so frickin nosy & intrusive..
Cheeky bstds ..

Several updates recently to the firefox browser ...I think I'm maxed out on updates currently ..
Is there still a decent free adaware software available ?
I wanna cripple this crap asap..

I use uBlock ...used to use Adblock in the past but found uBlock to be less resource intensive

I use AdblockPlus. There are two or three with similar names.

One of them tries to allow a select whitelist of ads - basically those companies that pay the blocker company to be let through so make sure you disable that if you pick that one..

The only time I have script issues is when resuming from hibernation (my laptops, not me!!), sometimes scripts lock up Palemoon, sometimes ebay, sometimes google, sometimes something on this forum, all usually to do with the alerts thing employed by the three sites...

All appears good for now ..
Downloaded bitdefender and ran it up ..
Found 8 incidents of adware in the temp folder ...probably downloaded java scripts from websites visited ..
Purged all 8 ..and it appears to have nobbled 'em
incidentally js.moatads from what I can find is not a key logger ..but a mouse tracker script..
??
So ..some sort of dataminer..
interestingly MS malicious software tool ..did not intercept anything ..
UNTIL bitdefender was running ...
about 2 minutes into the scan ..
MSE popped up and said ..oh dear there appears to be something intrusive on yer pc ..
prior to that it just sat there doing fook all ..
Nice one WINDOZE ZZZZzzzzzzz

Wouldn't trust MS's own software to catch a cold, never mind protect their own OS from bad stuff...

One of the best maleware, greyware, spywrae, malware...cleaner is combofix, you may run it in safe mode for best result.
PS: turn off your antivirus during the combofix scan

AdblockPlus here also using Opera.
No issues here with ebay
