I got myself a Hauupauge Nova-T card for my PC. Is there anyway to access the channels that are locked out? Any hidden channels or anything?

There are some hidden channels, but nobody's found them yet :(

Sorry m8, only kidding :p

RedHot can still be opened if you can work out how to edit the PIDS etc in your channel config file. Search the forum for more info in addition to the link above.

If you have a broadband there is software being toted around that claims to let you watch Sky Tv broadcasts on your pc by tapping into internet feeds, and its legal.I cant comment on effectivness or quality as I only have dial-up! I would be interested to hear from anybody that has tried it.

It is crap, there are no live Sky feeds on the internet, they are all by terrestrial cable, point to point microwave or satellite. There are channels available on the net, but most are very low data rates and can only be watched in a small window and are mostly over subscribed. The information packs which can be bought are a con, all of the information is freely available on the net.
