just wanted you to know that AOL are treating even ISP's the same way but they do offer a reverse DNS option. Would have told you sooner but have been away for two days.

See Part of Email from zen.co.uk below
Dear Customer,

As of December 1st, 2004, changes are being made in the way mail between Zen's
customers and AOL's network is conducted.

Due to instances of network abuse, where compromised customer equipment was
attacking AOL with spam, the decision has been reached with AOL to limit users running mail servers mailing AOL customers directly by default.

Customers running mail servers on a ZenADSL IP address will still be able to
mail AOL, but will need to have a custom reverse DNS record set up for the IP
address the mail server is running on.

More information on requesting reverse DNS can be found here:

Thanks for that toppervte33h, this all happened quite a while back and to avoid any possible problems, we removed AOL as an option in E-mail addresses, has made little difference to most members, as they often use webmail for joining forums anyway.

Will look into this to see if it will help in future though.

Thanks. :)

Indeedy as I did however, I have just changed mine to a disposable one using Address guard on Yahoo so that I can just trash it when spam starts infiltrating my account. That is an even better way than using a web account, but people tend to have quite a few anyhow.
