Well I thought it might have been exessive attenuation on a long cable at the higher frequencies, but obviously not.

As long as it is double screned satellite cable you should be OK.
Just checked that transponder and getting a whopping great signal. All I can think of is dish alignment or the LNB needs moving a up/down a bit. Which part have you got at the focus?

Any sharp bends in the cable (or kinks where you belted the cable clip too hard!)- you can get reflections which cancel out one frequency

Oh yeah, and that:-rofl2

wf100 s a good cable as the core is kind of solid (foam) and doesn't kink very easily.

Also a poor terminated cable connection can cause standing waves and could result in freq drop anywhere in the 'IF' band :D

Can you safely get to the dish? If so run a temporary length of cable from the monobloc to the receiver. If it now works its the cable. If it doesnt we can explore further possibilities.

Which bit of the LNB is in the middle of the dish?. When you look at the dish face, Is it the one on the left or the one on the right. The RHS one is Hotbird, and the LHS one is for Astra, either can be mounted in the center clamp.

Edit

Analogue posted in-between. Yes, don't mess with anything until you have tried Analogues suggestion.

the dish is on the first floor, so to run a cable just for afew channels missing is not worth is, i get on average a signal level of 70% plus, the channel with the worse signal is ARTE with 51% SIGNAL AND 52% quality, it's on 11623v hotbird.

Also 12673V on hotbird has a signal of 54% and quality 45%.
But 11567 V on astra has 56% signal and 84% quality.
so it seems that the tp on Astra have a good signal quality.
