Dish size depends on where you live. You can find the coverage footprints on www.lyngsat.com.

They moved off Arabsat 3A a couple of months ago, and are now only available on 2D. This bird does not cover north western Europe with any sensible sized dish, although if you are in the Mediterranean area, you will get it with normal sized dishes.

It's so difficult trying to sit a BIG dish on a tyre.

The answer to that is obvious - use a bigger tyre :D

No worry! I'm over at 25 more than I'm home at 54. Just as long as they do not block out my viewing of Arabsat and Nilesat. I just cannot understand people paying murdock for movies when there are so many free on those two birds. Mind you, on the otherhand< I do not sit glued to the TV all that often.
Bright sunny day here 7*W and 26*E good strong signals.

My friend had the same problem. We fixed it by adding the new TP -- 11642H, 27500,3/4.

I don't see how you can possibly hope to get a signal on the dish with the lamppost in front of it...
