This will be an interesting addition to the UK tv scene.

Don't think this is in HD elsewhere right in European skies?
 
The encryption flag appeared today, but still FTA. Does that mean, encrypted soon?
 
My box may be deceiving me but it looks like this is FTA once again.
 
Has it been confirmed Arirang will be on the Sky platform?
If so the K-pop fans will be going in overdrive if it launches on Sky and yes it is fta again.

Yes
Britain’s largest satellite network platform company, SKY, and free digital satellite network platform business, Freesat, will be airing Arirang TV throughout the U.K. within this year.
Arirang TV will begin satellite programming via the two platforms as soon as it obtains the Ofcom License, rents a satellite, resolves copyright issues and builds an EPG system.

I had to google "K-pop" now i know :eek:
 
Full launch today. HD version only. Epg slots are:

Sky UK 690 (news overspill area of epg - will probably be moved at some point)
Freesat UK 214
