Just a note to point out that Astra 1G is now positioned at 23.5 East and the beam is available over a wider area of Europe.

For instance here in the Canaries we couldn´t get a sniff of this cluster (on a reasonably sized dish) - now on a 1.0M no problem.

Currently 6 TP´s - Mainly some of Canal Digitaal and some other dutch stuff.

Great, on coming weekend will give a try...

Receiving signal in cyprus with 80cm at 63%.This is just below the threshold of 66%.I think the arc is out on my setup so maybe signal would be stronger

How long cabel deutschland going to use nagra2, are there any confirmed datas?

Nagra 3 is already in use on the KD transmissions so probably not much longer.

trigger your report is interesting. I wondered why the Canarias were not anymore inside the 120cm zone instead of the old official 1G footprint. This shows us once again that SES Astra is not publishing serious footprints. I wonder why they do it at all.

I suppose that the figures that they produce are on the conservative side as they will not want a deluge of complaints if they slightly get it wrong.

Possible. Anyway who cares about their footprints ? Reception reports - negative ones included - are far more worth. The more people contribute the better the we understand how far the coverage zone goes.
