astra 1g

thanks for that aceb its been raining for the last couple of days tried last night not enough signal for anything to come in,will try when its drier.cheers

Tell me about it, I was hoping to get my 1.2 back up this weekend but I'm not even going to open the back door this afternoon, SE gale and freezing cold.

Haven't been able to lock anything on this satellite since my last screenshot. Floating around 3dB on 12090, so hoping that the slightly drier weather will bring this back into lock eventually.

A new mux has appeared on 12246V 30000 2/3 8PSK. The line up is a mix of FTA and encrypted.
OCS CHOC (pid 301)
OCS CHOC2 (pid 311)
OCS HAPPY (pid 201)
OCS HAPPY2 (pid 211)
OCS MAX SD (pid 101)
OCS MAX SD 2 (pid 111)
OCS NOVO 2 (pid 411)

In addition to this MOYA DYTYNA has been added to the existing line up on 11758H duplicating it's output on 12090V

40% lock on 12.090V at times this evening - drifting in and out and glitching. First time I have heard from this sat since last summer.

Just flicked back over to 31.5E and 12.090V coming in loud and clear now at 48% quality. This is with a TD88, Black Ultra LNB and BM7000S in Cambs. Now is the perfect opportunity for anyone wanting to try this sat.

Managed to lock 11758H through blind scan as well. Just above lock threshold but it's stable.

..seems that going west the signal is dropping fast. Here in The Hague it's much stronger. With 120cm:

UK is not even touched by the official footprint. South Eastern England still has a chance. I am in South West, so it's very tricky here.

Time of day makes a big difference to this sat so keep scanning it. Here I lock 11758, 11934, 12090, 12246 and 12305 on my 1.2m

There are 3 more carriers that you should get. 11914H, 11992H and 12148H are as strong as the 5 you receive. The difference is that those are ACM/VCM_MIS feeds for Italian DVB-T.
But maybe 8psk, 5/6 requires a bigger dish...

The Prof card or more likely the driver doesn't like those transponders for some reason. It'll lock in EBS,direct control and trickPSK but unlike other ACM signals such as on 12.5 it wont lock using Dream.

You'll need a TBS 5925/6925 ;)

btw. I was wrong. Only 10914H is an Italian DVB-T feed. 11992H and 12148H are Ukrainian DVB-T2 feeds for Zeonbud: hxxp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtCMzTMIm1E
Each transponder carries 2 muxes with 32Mbps each. Except 1 program on each mux all services are scrambled (Irdeto)

Currently locking 11758H and 12090V on my TD88, but also had 12305H a short while ago. 12090V is the strongest for me.

A first for me on Astra 1G - the Italian ACM mux on 11914V. Much pixellation though due to continuity errors The Ukranian ACM is proving harder to lock.

Astra 1G gone for me now, the signal must have weakened again. 11758H went earlier in the evening, but 12090V lasted much longer.

Still receiving both TPs - stronger than yesterday as well! Getting 5.6dB on 11914H but it's below lock due to crappy DVB-S2. Also seeing 4.8dB on 11914V (below lock), 4dB on 12246V (below lock) and 4dB on 12304H (below lock...)

Good evening to try Astra 1G again. Getting 11758H at 54% and 12305H at 59% on my TD88.
