Solly where are you ? I don't quite remember if it was western Turkey or Amman.

Up to Rodos the signal is stronger than 1H which means 1m far more than sufficient. Then til now nobody from Cyprus has made a report but if the signal does not fall rapidly the chances are quite good to get it with a relative small diameter since the power of each transponder is 140W.

But better wait for a local report to be sure.

on amman signal 1h most transponder recive it

1kr 1.8 m no signal need near more then 3 m parabola

I see. Unfortunately it seems that 1KR falls very quickly on its edge. A friend from western Cyprus has a 1.80m Offset at 19.2E and he says that 1KR comes stronger than 1G/H, so might be that a 1.20m-1.50m is sufficient there.

I've just got back from a holiday in Cyprus and what surprised me is that most of the bars there (Larnaca) seemed to be showing live sky tv. I thought it was too far away. They all seemed to have what looked like to me to be about a 2M dish possibly 3. I just checked on asdtra2d.com and it does appear that the dish size needed varies from 2 to 3 M but mainly 3!
