i open new tropic
astra 2b today movening to 19.2e
now location 26e it move slowley
i belive soon will be arrive to 19.2e
we can check how to 2b on 19.2e

SES expect 2B to be on station at 19.4E around the 23rd Feb.

I wonder when we'll get some footprint maps. I'm a bit nervous I'm going to lose some transponders on 19.2E in Finland if they skew things further south, like they have for 2C.

astra 2b have 30 transponder maybe it can be switch more then satellite ?

Well if it will be stationed at 19.4E this bird won't be active. Maybe just as back up?

Is 2B now being assigned to what we originally were told was 1N's mission?

1N has somehow become a major workhorse at 28.2E despite the physical presence of 2F.

We do not, by any means, have a firkin clue what is going on.

2b replace 2c and this summer astra 2e launch 1n also back to original 19.2e
two time change slot on 19.2e

If the 2B would replace the 2C it will be stationed at 19.2E and not 19.4E. My guess is that it's just for back-up.

it mean ses change 16 tp to europe beam when it arrive 19.4 ?

Lyngsat says it's stationed at 19.4E: _www.lyngsat.com/Astra-2B.html

The validity of that depends upon who informed Lyngsat, how they ascertained it, and when. And also, even if it was correct when passed to Lyngsat, whether anyone has reported any further change.

SES's own information shows that 2B is slotted at 19.4E +/- 0.04 degrees.
