@solly: it is completly gone ! TP is switched off. So 12.441V pretty likely really was a copy of it.

@Pietclock
11934V is not 2A-North (must be South or 2E) :)

Summary of my post from the Scandinavian thread:

I tested the Astra 2E Europe beam transponders on a 1.8m dish in Helsinki using DrHD F15 quality levels in the afternoon. As others have reported, 2E Europe is similar to 2A South quality wise but several dB lower than 2A North and a huge improvement on 1N PE1.

It seems a lot stronger then 2F Europe.

They no doubt got that from the BBC's own article on the matter which was published a couple of days ago: It's posted here somewhere, but the Topic is fast-moving so I doubt it's easily findable!

Because the earth is a sphere and we measure distances on the surface of the earth. Spheres involved. And i can give it a numarical value. i know one angle (0.15 degrees attitude change) and one side of the triangle, ie the distance from me to the satellite. And i want to have the distance the beam moves on earth when the satellite rotates by 0.15 degrees around the z axis, ie the axis through the solar paddels. I think you are talking about a completely different problem.

Mod Note:

Can we have the trigonometry in a separate Topic, please.

@Huevos, please PM me the relevant Post #s and suggest a Topic Title and I'll find a suitable home.

Edit: All sorted, thnx.

Most probably 11...

12071H
12090V
12110H
12168V
12148H
12207V
12227H
12246V
12266H
12304H
12324V

Just got in and seen this list.
From this list - only 12207 and 12110 are still available on my 80cm dish here.
Before to day they were all available.
So that would suggest all but 12207 and 12110 are on 2As north beam. 2A north beam is simply not available here on the 80cm at this time of day.

So far all migrations to 2E used the PE beam.It seems the spot beam will only be used for Freesat

Ah, I was wondering when you were planning to rummage down the back of your sofa for those old push-pins! ;)
