About the move of ITV/ Ch4, has anyone considered they will not move and wait instead for ASTRA 2G ? Wishful thinking really :)

It'll happen in the next few days: 1N is imminently due for release to commence its transit to 19.2E.

Yeah it's not bad, but one obvious error I spotted was:

12188H is 2A South, not 1N PE1

And I'd question that fact that the data feeds are on 28A Steerable 1 since SES took over that block.

No chance, I think 1N will be on its way to 19.2E by next Thursday.

Thanks: I didn't check every entry as I was looking for something specific: But hopefully with your caveat, our friend can have faith in Flysat (After all, it's folk like us wot give them the info anyway!)

ITV channels will moved Tuesday am...they said in an email I have got from them.
"The new satellite footprints have been designed to meet the requirements of broadcasters who distribute their channels in the UK and hold broadcasting rights for the UK but not for other countries. Viewers in the UK will not be affected by the changes."

Not a lot of activity yesterday. For the record, the activation of 12127V (QSP, SR 27500, FEC 2/3) around 1:30 pm CET.

Is 12127V on 2E PE or 2A? I can't seem to get lock on this in the UK now unless the carrier has been dropped?

Must say, I really like these animations, they speak volumes for the overnight migrations and what is going on!

Hi to all
Someone up north Portugal receiving BBC channels or any spot beam channels?
I get nothing around Viseu area, 1.1m dish. Looks like I gotta settle with the 4o_O free channels we have here!!

Don't know what to make of 12127V. Did a scan this morning with a clear QPSK plot. Did one just know and I got this IQ plot. Very strong and focussed groups on NE,SE,SW and NW and "smeared out" on N,S,E and W.
I repeated it on another tuner (TBS 5922) which did not lock at all.

On the left TBS 5980, on the right TBS 5922

Yes, just another continuous stream that will give little joy.
Sure there is video and audio in it, at best a brief glimpse of video or audio could be seen or heard.
But even that I couldn't get with VLC on this one.

Near Porto, 1.80m dish can receive, despite the little fade margin. With clear skies, sometimes 1.20m will do.

Indeed - you're right. Took another look using the TBS5980 and noticed it's switching continuously between QPSK, 8PSK and 16APSK - which probably gives rise to the -for me- unusual IQ plot. You can see the bits of every mode in it. Hadn't come across one of those before.
