Not on a 1m anymore bud.

think that was a typo on my part (should be 1.1M... Seen reports of 1.1M that do pick up (although no more details)

Well if the purpose was to hit expats,we can say they have failed because the majority of expats is in Spain and this spot beam is quite receivable.

Recycled as the owner.
My Location

Thanks for your reports Tururu! I'm also close to Madrid and with the same dish size. I'm not at home so can't check signals for the moment. Are the migrated BBC channels watchable (without pixelation)?
@ MadridMan.
The signal is much stronger than the old ASTRA2D, see how he behaves during the day.
Overnight without pixelation normally it started raining hard and some tp's of 6'5dB 4'5dB fell over and if they began to pixelate but gave me time to throw a picture.
In DB800S-HD tuner the BER is higher than the Du + DUO2, but in the 2 without pixelated, cloudy or overcast.
The 2-output LNB is not 100% the same but will have good levels with the antenna you have.
If levels remain good, but have little antenna for bad weather.

Thank you all for the new data / information.
Changes in disney with tp and SID 11914.
----------------
@ Madridman.

Cloudy, fall 4 drops.
For boys the test signal levels are much higher than with the old Astra2D touches down something else.
Thanks for uploading the north footprint, I can put back the old antenna 80cm.

Nublado, caen 4 gotas.
Para los chicos de los test, los niveles de señal son mucho mas altos que con el viejo Astra2D, toca bajar algo mas.
Gracias por subir la huella norte, podre poner de nuevo la vieja antena de 80cm.

Astra 2E spot beam is being received without issue in Northern Italy on dishes of 120cm, I've read reports from Milan and Genoa.

2E has the same wobble like 2F, around noon it peaked and even right now reception is possible with 100cm. But like 2F, it is going down again and prob. will have its minimum around 21.30h.

Southern Catalunya
Reception in Southern Cataluña 'Fringe land' is as expected. Nothing on a 1.2M dish anywhere. 1.9 is ok to just north of Xerta then 2.4 is needed until at least Ginestar where 2F will lock but not 2E. In Mora (9Km away) nothing on either.

In Tres Cales north of L'Ametlla de Mar 2E and 2F lock but are not really watchable due to pixilation.
Back a 14Km south in L'Ampolla all are ok on 1.9.

The drop off is incredible over a very short distance.

All tests done using a 1.9M famaval and Invacon twin LNB.

It would be nice to see a compiled list of what channels are left on the PE beams.

we dont know yet if this is final. for example, we dont know if these tp's remain on 2a until 2g arrives, or they are to move to 2f/2e?
and sky seems to play with shifting beams, so we'll have to wait a few more days to see the final situation

True, but with the exception of a few Disney channels and Nickelodeon channels moving to a Europe beam, everything else has stayed as it was, it's just the spots are narrower now on the new satellite. There have been no big movements from UK Spot to Europe or Europe to UK Spot beams.

Well it is quite clear now, BSkyB are not interested in a Spot beam distribution... and all those small FTA stuff like planet pop etc arent either.

I suspect those small FTA stations are more interested in cost of transmission rather than if they are on a spot or not.

still, no complaints here...sky channels stayed on pe beams, so i can get my fix of british telly. although its pay tv, but its cheaper then building a NASA space station on my roof to watch bbc ;)

Looking at my diary entry when BBC went to astra 2f Last Year i notice the SNR was only about 45% on my Vu when it began and I now regularly have about 68-72% 24/7 I reckon the Signal will get stronger as It gets a Bit of power on
