im getting it dead on 28.2e as i said ill try check again tonight the power coming from it is weak but something is coming from that frequency cant say what

I cant see it on my 1.8m fixed, but can on the 1.5m motorized about 0.5º west of the slot.

that makes more sense than my semi lit transponder description will be rechecking wihtin the next hour

i just checked it still there but it is very intermittent comes on for about 5-10 seconds then goes will check it agian tomorrow an report back

just so it known my setup is 80cm dish bog stand mesh dish not sky one, basic lnb so it could be i am getting interferences from somewhere ill need to check with rf tomorrow see if there anything that might be causing signal spikes

I think that's what we all want to know - I'm sitting here waiting to see if we will get anything from the spot beam when it turns on! - as soon as it lights up I will be reporting reception from here on the coast in Valencia. Meanwhile its a waiting game. - Its a bit like watching out for your old gran to arrive on holiday when you were a child - you knows she's coming and about when - but she's not there yet . - Oh the excitement

Highly unlikely, seems more like overspill from neighboring frequencies

according to FLYSAT its at 28.5 not 28.2 is that just temp or is it going to stay there . the reason i ask is that on a 45cm dish in london it dont make any difference but on a 3m in tenerife could that fact alone cause problems regardless of signal drop because of lower power ??

i always line 1m dishs here on E28A (28.5) so to get CBS/TRUE etc if i just go with MAX signal i dont get E28A
so i DROP signal on 2A/2B (28.2) to get all three satellites ....

Flysat, whilst a useful Resource, relies upon punters submitting data, so don't assume it's always fully up to date and accurate.

It's final resting place is definitely 28.2E.

Both these frequencies, although not correct will pull in channel 5 ect.
