Hi,
They were testing with 2B frequencies when the Satellite was at 42.5E and from what I saw there was a mixture, 80% of the frequencies were on the PE beam but some of them ie Sky sports f1HD I think it was going to UK beam.

I checked all tested ones against what was there on 2B and that is how I worked that out.

Just out of curiosity, why 2B not 2A as 2A is the older bird? Also I bet all of a certain Sports channels will be on the PE beam (Just to make sure reception is strong in UK of course :-rub )

2B is going to be relocated elsewhere (I forget where now) so perhaps this is preferred satellite over the older 2A.

Edit: 2B is going to 19.2E according to the SES fleetmap PDF.

if thats really the case and if i lose too much of my sky content, along with the psb's, i'll seriously cancel my sky sub after 20 years

Sorry for the totally (almost) useless picture but wanted to show that I am now seeing 11023 H on my Humax. Thing is, when I press search it says "no channels found" ? signal strength 80% quality 60%.

Yes, I know that the telly is TOTALLY useless - long story.

There is absolutely no point speculating what might or might not happen with the Sky pay channels. What will happen will happen and it'll just get everyone would up and before we know it there will be rumours all over Europe that are the usual 1% fact, and 99% ill informed guesswork.

Now can we stay roughly on topic with the facts - which is what we can all actually see on the screen with the one frequency we believe has moved so far.

@FRINGE Looks like a Foxsat: Change FTA to All ......................

Could also be why Member bcnmonkey hasn't succeeded either.

Ok. Worth a try ................. Foxsat is a bit funny with numerically labelled Idents.

Same happened to me and it worked second time.

For 11798H that some see lower signal, it was on 2A and not 2B South Beam so it seems that not just 1N/2B frequencies are affected. But has it really moved ?
