On a Dutch satellite forum a poster from Marbella (South Spain) reports the loss of 11024H. 0% reception.

I can get it on my Fibo, but yes I agree, and a lot of those 1m dishes have been set up terribly.

My part of France is outside (just) - the signal looked pretty normal to me when I checked this morning at about 07:30CET.

11023H -43.8dBm SNR 0.0 (2F maybe?)
10936V -37.3dBm SNR 7.8 (1N)
11053H -39.3dBm SNR 10.4 (1N For comparison of like polarisation on UK Beams)

Both these are DVBS2 transponders.

So if the test on 11023H is true, its BAD BAD news here in Naples. Nothing seen. Not a flicker

Possible 2F footprint (to be taken with a pinch of salt).

This is a geometric footprint with 0.5º contour lines, (yellow at 0.45º, and blue at 0.55º respectively). Satellite placed at 7ºE to mimic beam shaping of the official UK footprint.

So far it looks like anywhere encompassed by the red zone should be possible on a 1.25 dish or smaller dish.

Forumer from Szczecin (northwest Poland) reported to have lost signal on 11023H, whereas this very morning he had stable signal at 61%.
Guys this is happening according to Mayan prediction

I didn't have the equipment by then, but a friend of mine, living also in Munich was able to receive 2D with the same equipment just fine.

So I am still getting both 11024h and 10847v on my 80cm dish 70kms south of valencia.
No real noticable drop in the signal at all compared to last week - and it is a bit cloudy today also.
Same story on the 90cm (or 1m as it is called in Spain!), 1.25m and 1.8m - no real noticable drop in the signal at all compared to last week.

Does this mean Spain has escaped at the expense to the east and west????
Will Expats flood to Spain, buy houses and dishes, and then we are out of financial trouble - is this a secret EU plan??????

Would be interesting to hear a signal report from Shetland... am stunned that signal is consistently 0% here, just 200 miles due east of Lerwick. As Shetland would need strong zone 2 reception, the beam fall-off must be incredible at the edge! (Astra 2D came in at about 70-80% strength and 65-75% quality on Humax PVR.)
