Although I have no lock on my 1.10m, 11023H is clearly there. Maybe with a 2.4m here it could be receivable...

by the way:

a german sat-dx friend has created a nice map with google maps where you can see the dish sizes in whole europe

_http://constantinmedia.com/sat/DishSizeMaps/

(it´s in testmode actual... the existing entries will be deleted next days and then you all can put a pin on the map)

Isnt that from the testing phase at 43.5E? - Edit yup it is :)

All hell will break loose this weekend .............. !!

Lyngsat will probably report the change by Sunday as CL likes to check these things before he publishes them.

Showing as 27 east here -http://www.satellite-calculations.com/Satellite/Catalog/catalogID.php?38778

27.1 east here -http://www.n2yo.com/?s=38778

24.83 east here -http://www.lyngsat.com/tracker/Astra-2F.html

28.2 east here -http://en.kingofsat.net/sat-astra2f.php

I suspect we've got a goodly number of sane and well-equipped people type persons here to know when things are ramping up with the changeover, so hopefully we'll be ahead of the Listings Sites.

(That's a challenge, chaps!)

Slubice, near German border - 11023H receivable, signal 80%. quality 35% - offset dish 125x140

At this point , if we are receiving a strong test signal , would it be fair to say this will be the case for the whole switchover ? Or is this all speculation ?Can things change much from here ?

it can be 11023h transmition low power on 1n
and not move to 2f ?

Slubice, near German border - 11023H receivable, signal 60%. quality 35% - offset dish 125x140

interesting ! A german DXer - some kilometers eastern from Berlin - can receive 2F stable with 8.61dB on 120cm Laminas.. is there a sidelobe ???

Mod Note: Just tried to embed your Video - Failed! Doh. (Good choice, by the way)

Just tried 11023H 23000 2/3 DBDs2 8spk again and have the two channels 8901 and 8911 both with total 100% SS and 100% SQ - will try again into the night to see if it drops off like 2D did!!!

Added later - at 21:08 local time with the 20db attenuator on I am still getting approx 65% SS and 100% quality

Forumer from Slubice picks signal with 125cm offset dish, another colleague from Poznan, 130 km eastwards, doesn't pick anything - 180cm offset. Isn't it dramatic?

Very likely. that guy receives 11023 with 125 offset MABO.

Nope - because they know how to make money - i expect MORE sky channels here in TENERIFE not less

So they clearly read KingOfSat ...................................... ! (And who gave them the info in the first place)

As I said a few Posts ago, Who Leads And Who Follows?!

(I'm being whimsical - I know you are a valued provider of reports to at least one of the major Sites of the ilk, and appreciate it)

they generally lead from when i update satbeams ;) i dnt know how many times in the pas ti have update sat beams within a few hours it there, but note i have not updated satbeams because we cant yet 100% confirm its on astra 2f uk spot but i think we all can be fairly sure it is
