Never seen that strength on 2A. So it looks like going up to a 1m dish would be acceptable here.
I've done further tuning after loss of signal earlier today.
The dish has now got one single LNB and I don't think it's possible to get it any better with the signal meter on the Foxsat (not the PVR version).
-> I can see the TV from the dish.
LNB skew is also optimized - and makes a huge difference.
Astra 2A 11720H quality 90%
Astra 2F 11023H quality 60%
Astra 2D used to be 90% on a clear day - and was almost never out due to normal rain.
Current antenna gain is close to 37 dBi at 11.7GHz (valid for a Triax TD78)
-> And this is currently not big enough for a wet day, that is if the rest of the channels will be similar when they move.
The big question now is: How big a dish to order?
TD88 is +2dB of gain
TD110 is +3dB of gain
1.2m (134x120cm) is +5.5dB of gain
What is the recommended fading margin?
