11.798H is weak here in Buckinghamshire, last week it was 76% quality, now it is 66%. This is now weaker than most of the Eutelsat 28A transponders for me!

No change in quality on any other 2A/2B transponders.

Interested Newbie / Mr Hoover .. to confirm you are getting 11023H in South Portugal ? There is no positive reception report on analog sats map from portugal and from what I can see IN you are using a 1 meter ?

No, I'm sorry if I have mislead you, I'm not able to test the signal here, but traditionally we have had much better reception than the Costa del Sol. I am really asking for advice about which quad LNB to buy as I am going to the UK tomorrow and could bring one back with me. I notice all the posters on this page have invecoms but I had thought the inverto was the best.

only large dish 3.0 or more 3.8m receiver it

11798 H looks the same level as 2A south transponders in SW Portugal or even a dB or so up.
How about a Canary Island Report?

Not for me with a 1.80m dish in Lisbon. I had 100% signal yesterday and now I'm getting 66%. Same as 2A north beams ....

Well...By the time you return to Portugal there "might" be no BBC/ITV/Ch 4/Ch 5 available so bear that in mind.
I've used both makes of LNB..

Looking stronger in SW Portugal than it used to...Similar to Astra 2A north beam here now
but a lot weaker than 11798 H

Lost 2F earlier this afternoon; clouded over and light rain so there's obviously very little margin at the moment.

Also just had to go out and adjust the skew on the LNB... the optimised settings for 2A Southern Beam (which brought in 2F) led to the Horizontal transponders on 1N breaking up from about 1600 CET. Skew adjusted to correct 1N, but 2A is now weaker.
