All right, let's do some real measurements. SNR of 6.1 dB vs 11.2 dB for 11798H and 11720H, respectively.

Edit: that's with the 90cm dish.

wow, thats a big difference, 6.1 is near the threshold, isn't it? i certainly have a much smaller difference between the two. those are measured on a 90cm dish?

Not very helpful but [background=rgb(247, 247, 247)]12207 power is up much higher here tonight. Usually just lockable now with about 10% extra power[/background]

Checking those transponders on Humax PVR (don't have Sky):
11720H: 90% Strength 90% Quality
11798H: 90% Strength 40% Quality (!)

It gets weirder...

Edit: It's like there was some sort of noise on that transponder. It looks like it's 8PSK but it's not. I don't get it. With the 1.8m dish, the signal is not better at all.

Absolutely nothing on 11023H this evening, but on Friday I was getting 80% signal and 60% quality. Something has changed...

Weak as usual here but works fine. No change in signal level.

just an idea...isnt it possible that for whatever reason the output power was decreased on 1N, and thats why we're experiencing signal loss on the edges? and its not because these tp's were moved to 2F...?

In Iraklio/Crete 2 friends of mine have lock on 11798H:

Mabo 170x185cm at 7.6dB now.
Channel Master 3m at 9.8dB now.

Both use a Technotrend S2-1600 DVB-S2 card. The measurement is made with Crazyscan and EBS Pro. Both don't show any BER.
