Could the lower power on the ex-Eutelsat transponders be because it is 36MHz wide instead of 26MHz?
That shouldn't make a difference to the actual carrier level, ie shoulder height. I do know there's different power levels sold to SES's clients, reckon the Eutelsat deal on SES's craft is for the lowest available power to keep costs as close as they were for Eutelsat's uplink operators now compared to E28A.

Lyngsat has been updated and is showing E28A empty now but they haven't removed the temporary transponders that switched off yesterday. Otherwise it looks reasonably accurate now with the satellite allocations.

My Satellite Setup
Gibertini 125 dish, Inverto Black Ultra single aimed at 28.2 E, built in Philips TV receiver
Triax 110 aimed at Telstar 12 (15 W)

For most transponders, the signal from 2G is similar to what we had from 2F here in southwestern Sweden. However, 11023H (my favorite!) is more difficult to receive than before and compared to e.g. 11097V. I wonder if the skew of 2G could be slightly different from 2F causing interference from the V data transponders to the 11023H? Does anybody have similar experience?

Here in Vansbro I get nothing on 11023H it was always the worst.

At my place 2G is a bit stronger than 2F (might be due to the fact my dish is more optimized for 2G).

Some example of values (I will install new software in my receiver shortly showing dB values but for now you'll get SNR %).

2E
(the "old" UK-beam transponders have been a bit lower the last couple of days):
10758 V = 78-81 %
10773 H = 70-74 %
10847 V = 72-76 %

"New" UK
11386 H = 60-65 %
11426 V = 61-66 %

European
11 836 H = 89-91 %
12 480 V = 99 %

2F

"New" UK
11306 V = 57-63 %
11344 V = 59-65 %
11344 H = 55-59%

12422H = 48-56 % (been weaker than before the last couple of days)

European
12207 V = 90-92 %
12545H = 80-83 %

2G (UK-beam was stronger a couple of days ago)

UK
10964 H = 66-70 %
11023 H = 60-66 %
11126 V = 66-71 %

European

All TP:s = 99 %

Generally all UK beams are weakest in the evening (19.00-22.00)

11023 is closest to the monster data signal on 11008. This signal will kill all around it if the lnb is even 1 degree out. Skew adjustment may cure this.

Last July I lost 11023, I guess that is when the monster data signal was lit up. I carefully adjusted the skew and managed to regain the 11023 then. I will give it a try to adjust it again.

Nalleman, here in Gothenburg things seem to be somewhat opposite to where you are: 2F and 2G being the strongest and 2E much weaker. We have fairly strong signal in the evening with a drop at lunch time (particularly on 2E).

The output of TPs 65 & 67 is the poorest I've seen yet on 2G. Roughly 1dB lower than 105 & 107 and almost 2dB lower than 103.

Edit: - Sorry, meant to post this in the general dicussion thread.

But satellitecalculations seems to show wrong 2f/2e/2g future movement. Those cannot be used as evidense, as those predict future, and that has not happened when i have previously checked what this site predict for normal orbit slot, e.g. for 2f .
